the state fair.

Not our state's state fair. The Minnesota State Fair. You know, the second-largest one in the country. Chad + I have never been to the state fair before, so two Sundays ago, we went with my sisters, brother-in-law, and baby Z. I have never had a state fair experience quite like this, and I don't think I ever will. We said farewell to summer the best way: eating + laughing with our families. It was pure, late summer magic.

Every time I see a 'state fair' I wish I could experience them just once - maybe one day. Our local fairs are a much more country/farming based affair here in UK. Yours looks like such fun!

Awesome! The fair is coming next weekend to our town, but it's nowhere near as big as that one. Still, I intend to eat mini-doughnuts and ride the ferris wheel, so it will be excellent just the same!

I've actually never been to a state fair, and I am beginning to think that I am really missing out!
