officially.
It's not spring around here until Chad and I have grilled brats, had a beer, and watched one Brewers game together. It's our little tradition. As of Friday of last week, it was officially spring.
Other ways we know it's spring in our house:
*Our screen door will stay open until I complain of being chilly around 930 at night.
*I get to buy new flats (today!)
*Chad takes his motorcycle to work.
*Chad will go to the driving range after work (it's dangerously close to where we live which means he goes there tri-weekly)
*When it's a little nicer out, we'll start walking to the grocery store and walking around the river
*Blueberries and asparagus are on sale. hooray!
How do you celebrate spring?

I'm most excited about the amazing tomatoes and avocados we get around this time in California. Just another month or two! I've already started enjoying beers and being ourdoors . . . and it's getting prettier by the minute!
I celebrate by putting the uggs away and pulling out the flip-flops
I celebrate spring by switching up my closet with the giant container of skirts and capris and sandals under my bed! I pick daffodils and tulips from my garden and put them on the kitchen table. And I open all the windows in the house until everybody's freezing and I need to close them all again!
Love it! It's sundress weather around here which means it's spring.
My favorite thing off the grill is actually grilled pineapple rings with a honey & lemon glaze. SO GOOD.
Great photos of your man grilling!
Yesss- absolutely about having the windows/ doors open. Hooray for spring!
Haha we've been grilling like crazy, it's definitely spring time.
I love this simple reminder. Thanks for letting us in on your celebration.
What a great tradition! I love rituals like that.
I adore the first picture. So sweet :)
JEGs and I have grilled our first hot dogs on the grill and we've caught a couple Phillies games on TV. Spring is here ;)

Berry picking for me is a sure sign it's spring. And the first barbecue -- the type where you're still wearing a light jacket because it's a little cold. And lilacs. When the lilacs arrive, I know spring has too.
I eat so much asparagus this time of year - it's wonderful! Grilled asparagus is awesome!
It's pouring rain in DC, that's how I know it's spring-April showers better bring me peonies!
Umm, I LOVE how you ring in spring!
Cooking on the grill is so exciting! The first week it was nice we (and by we, I mean Vito because it's his thing) cooked on the grill every night. It makes things taste to much better!
I look forward to fresh fruit and veggies from the farmers market, probably starting next month!
