“Ah, dearest Jesus, holy Child make Thee a bed, soft, undefiled, within my heart that it may be a quiet chamber kept for Thee”
Through all the events happening this month, I want to strive to keep Jesus in the center of it all. I need help remembering that it's not about the gifts I'm giving, the packages I'm getting in the mail, the everyday plans, the full calendar. It's about making a quiet chamber for Jesus to live- a place for me to reflect on the blessings He's showered on me and the promises He's made.

Such a wonderful truth...so easily I become lost in buying gifts, instead of allowing myself to be lost in the pure awesomeness of THE GIFT that gave me life, hope and a future.
Beautiful sentiments, my love! :) And, what a sweet little nativity!
Love this post. And wherever did you find that adorable nativity set? I've been wanting to get a wooden one for G to chew and play with. :)
it's so true. we get so wrapped up in the wrong things when we should be focussing on the REAL gift that was given, Jesus.
May we all find some time to have quiet and meaningful reflection.
Those earrings are gorgeous. This Mom would love to find those under the tree!
